Costa Rica’s Southern Zone To Have Airport by 2010

An outdated projection regarding the proposed International Airport in Costa Rica’s southern pacific zone. The project has proved to be controversial (to say the least). Despite the title of this post, based on an article in La Nacion, here in 2011, we are still waiting for the airport. Frankly, it is this author’s preference that Costa Rica’s southern pacific zone maintains its natural “remote” feel, even if this means that it isn’t quite so convenient getting here.
